A note on the garments you are likely pressing.
Workwear is mostly polyester or a heavy blend. Press synthetics at 270–285°F for 8–10 seconds, pre-press the garment for 3–5 seconds first, and always do the second press under a silicone sheet — that step is what makes the difference over an industrial wash cycle.

- Will DTF transfers survive industrial laundering?
- Pressed properly, yes. The details that matter are pressure (40–60 psi), a cold peel, and a second press for 10–15 seconds under a silicone sheet or parchment. Skipping the second press is the most common reason a work shirt starts lifting at the edges after a few hot washes.
- Can you press on hi-vis for a Hamilton job site?
- Yes, on the polyester hi-vis is normally made from, at 270–285°F. Keep the print off the reflective tape and away from areas the garment's certification needs left clear. For flame-resistant garments, confirm with the manufacturer first — FR apparel is certified as a complete assembly.
- How fast can I get transfers to Hamilton?
