Same-Day DTF Printing — Order by 2 PM ET, Ships the Next Morning

Place your order before 2 PM ET on a business day and your transfers print that same afternoon and go out with the next morning's shipment. No rush fee, no expedite tier — that is the standard timeline for every order we take.

Plain language

What “same day” actually means here.

It means your transfers are printed the same business day you order them — not that they are delivered the same day. Nobody in Canada can print and deliver custom transfers to your door in a single day, and any supplier implying otherwise is describing something else.

What you get is the shortest honest version of the timeline: printed the afternoon you order, packed and handed to the carrier the next morning, then normal ground transit. In practice that puts most Ontario orders on a bench two days after ordering.

The timeline

Hour by hour.

The only step with a deadline attached is the first one. Everything after it happens on our schedule, not yours.
  1. 1
Before 2 PM ET — order placed

Artwork uploaded and DPI-checked, size and quantity set, payment taken. The order joins the same-day queue.

  2. 2
Same afternoon — printed, powdered, cured

Your file goes on the roll exactly as uploaded. Adhesive powder is applied while the ink is wet, then cured. This is the part that cannot be rushed further without hurting the print.

  3. 3
Next morning — packed and shipped

Transfers are packed flat, labelled and handed to the carrier with tracking. You get the tracking number the moment it moves.

  4. 4
    24–48 hours later — delivered

Most of Canada, from Ontario. Ontario itself is typically the next business day after shipping; the further west, the more transit days to add.

By region

Realistic delivery windows.

These are transit times measured from the ship date, not from when you place the order. Add one business day for printing if you order before the cut-off, two if you order after it.

Same-day printing gets you to the ship date faster. It does not shorten the drive — plan the transit leg honestly if you have a fixed date.

These are estimates from our Ontario facility, not guarantees — carriers control transit, and weather and volume both move these numbers. If you have a fixed date, build in a buffer day. More on shipping and turnaround →

When you are genuinely out of time

Four things that actually help.

Send a print-ready file

PNG or PDF, 300 DPI at final print size, transparent background, tight crop. A file that needs prepress work is the single most common reason an order misses the same-day queue.

Skip the cutting service

Cutting adds a handling step. On a tight deadline, take the uncut sheet and trim it yourself — it will move through production faster.

Order before noon if you can

The 2 PM ET cut-off is real, but earlier is genuinely better: an order at 11 AM has room for a quick conversation if something is wrong with the file. One at 1:55 PM does not.

Pay by card, not e-Transfer

e-Transfer is fine on a normal order, but production starts when the money lands. On a deadline, card payment removes an unpredictable step.

Being upfront

What can still slow you down.

Most missed deadlines in this business come from one of three things, and all three are worth knowing before you order rather than after.

Artwork that needs work

A low-resolution file, a JPG with a white background that needs removing, or a logo that has to be rebuilt. We flag DPI automatically on upload, but a file that needs real prepress work has to go through our artwork service before it can print.

Payment that has not cleared

e-Transfer arrives when it arrives. If you have picked e-Transfer and you are on a deadline, send it immediately after ordering.

Statutory holidays

We print on business days. A Friday afternoon order before a long weekend ships Tuesday morning, not Saturday.

If your artwork is the problem, our artwork service can usually fix it same-day — but tell us it is urgent when you order, not after.

FAQ

Rush order questions

What time is the cut-off for same-day printing?
2 PM ET on a business day. Orders placed before it print that same afternoon and ship the following morning. Orders after it print the next business day.
Will my order arrive tomorrow?
Ontario destinations usually see delivery the next business day after we ship, which means about two days from ordering. Most of the rest of Canada is 24–48 hours in transit from the ship date, and distances beyond Ontario add transit days. We print same-day; the carrier controls the rest.
Is there a rush fee?
No. Same-day printing on orders placed before 2 PM ET is how every order works, not an upgrade you pay for. If you need something faster than that, contact us and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
What if I miss the cut-off?
Your order prints the next business day and ships the morning after that. If you are close to the cut-off it is worth submitting what you have — an order in the queue at 1:55 PM beats a perfect one at 2:10 PM.
Can I pay by e-Transfer on a rush order?
You can, but production starts when the transfer lands rather than when the order is placed. On a genuine deadline, paying by card is faster and removes a step that is outside our control.
What slows an order down?
Three things, in order: artwork that needs prepress work before it can print, e-Transfer payment that has not cleared, and statutory holidays. All three are avoidable if you know about them in advance.

It is not 2 PM ET yet.

Upload your artwork now and it prints this afternoon. If something is wrong with the file we will tell you before it runs, not after.
