DTF Transfer Pricing — Priced by the Square Inch, Shown Before You Pay

Two numbers, and one of them is optional.

The arithmetic is width × height × copies × rate. A 10-inch by 12-inch print is 120 square inches, which at $0.0249 is $2.99. Add cutting and it is $3.24. There is no hidden tier chart and nothing is added at the end.

What common prints actually cost.

These are the placements most orders use. The last column shows the same print at 25 copies, because that is usually the number people are trying to budget for.

Every figure above is $2.49 per 100 square inches — the same rate whether you order one or a thousand. Optional gang cutting adds $0.25 per copy.

What you are not charged for.

Shipping is a flat $9.99 per order, and free once your pre-tax items subtotal is over $275. That threshold is measured on the items subtotal before tax, so the number you see in your cart is the number that counts. Orders ship tracked from Ontario.

If you place a second order later the same day, it can usually be packed with the first — which is worth doing deliberately when you are close to the threshold.

Is a gang sheet cheaper?

Not per square inch — the rate is identical. What a gang sheet saves is wasted area. When you order designs individually, each one carries its own bounding box; when you gang them, you pack many designs into one sheet and pay for far less empty film between them. On a mixed run of small designs that difference is substantial.

If you are ordering one big print, order it individually. If you are ordering fifteen small ones, build a gang sheet.

Wholesale and repeat-order pricing.

Print shops, resellers and businesses ordering regularly can have a rate set on their account, which then applies automatically to every order rather than being negotiated job by job. Accounts also get saved design libraries, two-click reorders and the ability to pay several orders on one invoice.

Canadian tax, included in the total.

Prices shown on this page are before tax. Applicable Canadian sales tax is calculated at checkout and included in the total you are shown before you pay — there is no separate invoice afterwards. The free-shipping threshold of $275 is measured on the pre-tax items subtotal.

Pricing questions

How much is a DTF transfer?

$0.0249 per square inch of printed area. A 10" × 12" print is 120 square inches, so $2.99. A 4" × 4" left chest logo is 16 square inches, so $0.40.

Are there setup fees?

No. No setup fees, no screen charges, no art fees on standard print-ready files, and no minimum order quantity.

Do you charge more for full-colour prints?

No. Colour count has no effect on the price — only printed area does. A full-colour photographic design costs exactly the same as a single-colour logo at the same size.

Do I pay for the transparent parts of my design?

You pay for the print area you order — the width and height you set. Designing tightly around your artwork rather than leaving a large empty canvas is the practical way to keep the area down.

What does the cutting service cost?

$0.25 per copy, and it is entirely optional. With it, transfers arrive cut out and ready to lay down; without it, you cut them yourself or press the sheet as-is.

When is shipping free?

Shipping is a flat $9.99 and becomes free once your pre-tax items subtotal is over $275.

Can I see the price before I pay?

Yes. The total updates live as you set size and quantity, and the full total including tax and shipping is shown at checkout. Nothing is calculated after the fact.

How do I pay?

Credit or debit card via Stripe at checkout, or Interac e-Transfer. With e-Transfer we email you the address and your order number for the memo, and production starts once it lands.
