Fast DTF Transfers in Toronto: Ships in 24–48 Hours
What happens, and when.
The step worth noticing is the second one. A person opens your file before it goes on the printer, which is where a low-resolution logo or a stray white box gets caught — while it still costs a message rather than a box of ruined shirts. What the file check catches →
Two clocks, not one.
Every delivery promise is two numbers added together: how long before someone prints your job, and how long the courier takes. Suppliers quote whichever number flatters them. Production time is the one a printer actually controls, so it is the one worth asking about.
- Quoted as “a few days”, with no stated cut-off.
- Ground transit then adds 1–2 days.
- The quoted "turnaround" often excludes the queue.
- A busy week silently lengthens it.
- You find out it slipped when it does not arrive.
- In before 11 AM ET on a business day, today is day one.
- DTF ships in 24–48 hours, UV DTF in 1–3 business days, tracked.
- Typically 1–2 business days to a Toronto address.
- No rush fee — this is the normal path.
- The ship-by date is shown before you pay.
What our turnaround will not fix.
| Situation | Honest answer |
|---|---|
| You need shirts pressed and delivered today | Not possible from us. A Toronto walk-in shop is the right call, and we would tell you so. |
| You order at 4 PM and need it tomorrow | Not from us. After 11 AM ET the next business day is day one and a DTF order ships by day two — so ordering at 4 PM or first thing the next business morning gives the same date. |
| Your event is Saturday and today is Thursday | Too late to promise. Ordered Thursday morning, a DTF order ships by Friday, and a Friday shipment reaches Toronto on Monday at the soonest. Use a walk-in shop, and next time order by Tuesday morning of event week. |
| You have a 40-metre run due Friday | Same rule as a small order — it ships in 24–48 hours. For a Friday date in Toronto, order by Tuesday before 11 AM ET (Monday if the run includes UV DTF), or the week before for a spare day. |
| Your file has a problem | We tell you before printing rather than printing it wrong. That can cost a day, and it is the day that saves the run. |
| It is a Sunday | Nothing prints. Weekends do not count, so Monday is day one and a DTF order ships by Tuesday — we would rather say that than imply a weekend shift. |
Why we are blunt about this
A delivery promise we cannot hit costs far more than the order is worth. You plan around it, the shirts are not there, and the event happens anyway. We would rather lose the job to a shop down the street than be the reason a crew works a launch in blank tees. Does fast mean worse? →
Four ways Toronto customers actually use it.
Transfers keep indefinitely stored flat and out of sunlight. Order the season’s designs once and press as orders come in — then our turnaround stops being something your own customers wait on.
A crew grows, a size sells out, a player joins. With no minimum, a five-piece top-up ordered before the cut-off is on your bench inside the week at the same rate as the original run.

If you decorate for a living, what you need from a supplier is a date, not a promise of speed. A ship-by date shown before you pay is what lets you quote a client a date you can hold. For Toronto shops →
Where it goes, and what slows it down.
Transit across the GTA is short enough that the address matters more than the distance. A downtown tower and a Scarborough industrial unit are the same courier leg and two entirely different delivery problems.
| Delivering to | Usually | Worth adding to your notes |
|---|---|---|
| A house or townhouse | Straightforward | Nothing, unless nobody is home during the day. |
| A condo or apartment | Usually fine | Unit number and a buzzer code — a locked lobby costs a day. |
| A downtown office tower | Fine in business hours | Floor, company name and reception hours. |
| An industrial unit or warehouse | Fine | Receiving hours. A dock closing at three is the classic miss. |
| A retail storefront | Fine | Opening hours, if you open late. |
| An event venue | Needs planning | Contact name and the load-in window — venues refuse parcels outside it. |
The notes field is the whole trick
One failed delivery attempt costs a full business day and can push a parcel past the date you planned around. Thirty seconds spent on receiving details is the highest-return part of placing the order. Why orders arrive late →
Frequently asked questions
- Can I get DTF transfers the same day in Toronto?
- Not from us. DTF orders ship in 24–48 hours, UV DTF in 1–3 business days — order before 11 AM ET on a business day and that day counts as day one — and a Toronto address is typically one to two business days after it ships. If you need transfers in your hands today, a Toronto walk-in shop is the right call.
- So what does the 11 AM ET cut-off actually buy me?
- A day. Order before it on a business day and today counts as day one; order after it and day one moves to the next business day. Either way a DTF order ships by day two at the latest (day three if it includes UV DTF), and the exact date is on screen before you pay — a written date rather than a supplier’s “usually”.
- What is the latest I can order for today to count as day one?
- 11 AM ET, on a business day. After that, day one is the next business day. Weekends and shop closures do not count as days.
- Does a big order take longer?
- No. DTF orders ship in 24–48 hours whatever their size — a five-piece top-up and a long gang-sheet run are on the same rule. What does add a day is UV DTF: an order with any UV design in it ships in 1–3 business days. The order screen shows your ship-by date before you pay.
- I need shirts in my hands tomorrow in Toronto. Is that possible?
- Not something we can promise, and we will not pretend otherwise. DTF orders ship in 24–48 hours and then take one to two business days to a Toronto address, so for tomorrow you need a shop with a counter. For a fixed event date, order at least a week ahead.
- Is there a rush fee?
- No. DTF orders ship in 24–48 hours and UV DTF in 1–3 business days, on the same rule for everyone — there is no paid tier that jumps the queue. If you need something faster than that, contact us and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
